Every Bicycle Has a Second Chapter

About Us
After years working behind the scenes at Film Works Studios, Allen Hoffer figured retirement would be a good time to slow down a little. But not long after, he ended up at an auction, put in a bid on a couple of old bikes just for the heck of it—and won. That was the start of something he didn’t see coming.
With a little extra time on his hands and the world slowing down during the early days of COVID, Allen found himself out in the garage, tinkering with those bikes. He started learning as he went—how to take them apart, clean them up, repaint the frames, adjust the brakes, and get them riding smooth again. Before long, fixing up old bikes became more than a way to pass the time—it became something he genuinely loved.
Neighbors started noticing the bikes he was working on. Then friends started asking if he could fix one up for them. These days, Allen tracks down vintage bikes from all over and gives them new life—just because he thinks well-made things shouldn't be left to rust.
He’s not running some big business—just a guy who loves old bikes and takes pride in doing things right. Allen’s the type who’d rather be out in the garage than on a screen, who’ll help you move a couch or fix a squeaky door without being asked. His little shop is a quiet reminder that sometimes the best things are simple, built to last, and made better with a little care.
